Ahead of her forthcoming exhibition at Root Hotel, Kinga Földi invites us into the delicate world of her sculptural practice with an intimate Ginkgo Biloba leaf-making workshop at Apartıman Yeniköy. Working with silk as her medium, Földi explores the forms, textures, and quiet poetry of the natural world, transforming its ephemeral beauty into enduring sculptural forms.

Workshop - Bonsai Seika — Art of Time

As part of Bonsai Seika — Art of Time at Root Karaköy, bonsai artist and Bonsai Seika founder Aykut Erşen invites participants into the contemplative world of this centuries-old living art. Through a three-hour hands-on workshop, participants will explore the foundations of bonsai, from repotting and root work to essential care and shaping techniques, while working directly with their own tree. All materials are provided, and each participant will take home the bonsai they have worked on—a living work that will continue to grow and transform over time.
